Don't skimp on the diagnostics. Assume employees know what is wrong in the organization and have a sense of what should be the areas of focus. Understanding all that employees feel are wrong, right, and what is needed is the key to your organization emerging through the current storm. Employees may feel distrustful especially if prior leaders attempted similar efforts. The cost of increasing distrust is huge. Leadership cannot afford the cost of lost time, lost engagement on the organizations recovery. Don't skimp on the diagnostics. Now is the time to add variety and be a bit unique.
