Changing Up Your Routine With Bossaball

The benefits of exercising are innumerable

The benefits of exercising are innumerable. Scientists probably cannot even specify every benefit that you can receive from exercising.

A few of the benefits you may receive from exercising include increased cardiovascular endurance, greater physical strength, improved self-esteem, a greater level of self-confidence, and more success in life. You will also have the opportunity to create friends as you exercise.

One of the most popular ways to exercise is on a stationary bike. Recumbent bicycles are the most comfortable type of bike because they reline slightly.

They allow the exerciser to relax while using their legs to exercise. Some stationary bikes even have games you can play on them while you exercise.

The game stops if you stop pedaling, so it requires you to keep pedaling. Stationary bikes also allow mothers to watch their children and exercise at the same time.

This saves a lot of money on daycare while you exercise and allows your children to see how important exercising is to you. Your example can help them to decide to develop good exercising habits early on in their life.

While exercising on the stationary bike can be very helpful and beneficial, after a while your body will become used to the exercise and you may stop improving. To prevent this from happening you need to make sure that you spice up your exercise routine every once in awhile.

You can do this by changing the settings on the bike, but it is a lot more fun to try out a new sport. One of the least well known, but incredibly fun sports is called Bossaball.

Bossaball was invented in Spain by Filip Eyckmans from Belgium. This is a very new sport to the world as it was created sometime between 2003 and 2005.

Bossaball is a combination of several different sports with elements of volleyball, football or soccer, gymnastics, and capoeira. The court features a trampoline in the center front.

This trampoline allows players to jump high enough to effectively spike the ball. This sport also includes a foot serve.

Currently, this sport is growing popularity in Brazil, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Kuwait, Ecuador, and Saudi Arabia. In Bossaball there are two teams made of three to five players each that play each other.

In general, one player positions himself on the trampoline while the others position themselves in various areas on the inflatable court. To begin the game, a player from one of the teams will throw or kick the ball into the air so that it will land on the ground of the opposing team's court.

The other team gets up to eight contacts with the ball before it has to be returned to the opposite side of the court. These contacts can occur with any part of the body.

However, there is a maximum limits of two successive contacts with the head or feet and a maximum of one contact with the hands. Te player on the trampoline jumps to get as high as he can while his teammates are bouncing the ball around.

The higher a player can get, the more control he will have over where he can spike the ball. The attack is the part of the rally where a teammate shoots the ball up to the trampoline teammate in a spot where he can effectively spike it.

The opposing team then tries to prevent the ball from hitting their court. Players at the net try to jump and block the ball from crossing the net.

If the ball passes the block, the players behind the blockers will try to dig the ball and then return attack it to the other side. A common method of handling the ball is the volleyball forearm pass.

The game continues in this manner until the ball hits the ground. When this happens, the team on the opposite side of the net earns points.

If the ball hits the trampoline, the opposite team wins three points. However, if the ball hits the inflatable cushions within the boundaries, the opposite team will only win one point.

If the ball hits the bossa wall, or the wall around the trampoline, the play continues off the bounce. The team that scores continues to serve and the same player serves.

The team rotates if they did not serve the previous rally. The game ends when a total of 25 points with a two point lead is reached by one of the teams.

One match consists of three games. This game is intense to play and it is a great way to change up your exercise routine.
