Connect To 4g In Boston And Stay Mobile Without Sacrificing High Speed Internet

Boston is connected to 4G wireless Internet, begging the question: If you currently

live in the Boston area why are you no yet connected to 4G as well? You stand to benefit in several ways when you connect to this new development in wireless Internet.

Wireless Internet became truly mobile with the introduction of 3G. Third Generation Internet was made available in cell phones, offering the Internet user true mobile Internet as they moved through their city. It is still highly popular today, being offered in just about every new phone model being launched. What made it revolutionary was its ability to offer Internet to cell phone users without having to rely on a wireless Internet hotspot. Hotpots are notoriously undependable and cause other headaches and issues when accessing them around town. In a sense, as you connect to a caf hotspot in Boston, you are staying mobile. However, that mobility is fundamentally limited. You are still tied down to one location until you move locations. The network can be weak in certain areas of the same office, caf, bookstore, or restaurant. The signal strength varies within the same building many times, sometimes disconnecting you for no apparent reason. You also must deal with passwords and sometimes need to make a purchase in order to use the Internet. That can waste time and money.

It is certainly no way to be productive on the computer or cell phone. When 3G was introduced, it gave cell phone users the ability to move through their citys streets and buildings with Internet for the first time. While you still can log onto an open wireless network if your cell phone detects a strong enough signal, the idea with 3G is to provide all its users their own citywide wireless Internet network.

Then 4G came along. With the rapid spread of 3G across the country, it became apparent fairly quickly that a new development was necessary. True high speed Internet was necessary. Internet that would allow cell phone users to use the Internet in the same way as they could at home or work on a broadband Internet connection. Internet users want to have access to multimedia, stream music videos and movies, and chat with friends across the globe with the use of video chat. They want to use the Internet to its full potential.

They also want to stay mobile. Staying mobile is important in todays world. Living in Boston means you likely move seamlessly through neighborhoods towns on public transportation. You may take the train in from North Shore or take the subway to Back Bay station for work. You may commute a good distance each day to and from work. Staying connected to high speed Internet as you move through town is important for personal and work-related reasons.

With 4G Internet, you can accomplish that goal. High speed Internet that keeps you mobile is yours when you connect to 4G. While it is relatively new it is quickly spreading across the country and gaining speed as the next big breakthrough in wireless Internet.
