The majority of us have to commute for work at some point in our lives, and sitting in traffic and watching the clock get later and later is one of the most frustrating things that you will do on a weekly basis. You could also listen to music, but studies have revealed that rap music and faster music can make you feel more aggressive, so if you are in an already stressful situation then the best thing to do is listen to classical or more chilled out music. Try a little Norah Jones or some Mozart to really calm you down ready for the day ahead.
Studies on driving habits from the British School of Motoring have also revealed that computer and console driving games, which some people use to relax, have also been proven to make people rive quicker and more dangerously, so if you use these then you might need to reconsider! Essentially do whatever you can to prevent your blood from boiling and causing further stress in traffic.
