, that there is a Facebook page that is called Diet Coke with Bacon. The rumors have been going on since around the year 2005.

On August 21, 2012 they posted this on their Facebook page:

A new adventure in soft drinks, Diet Coke with Bacon is sure to introduce you to a flavorific good time. This drink is so important that it even has its own Diet Coke Facebook Page.

However, if you are a bacon lover and have wanted that drink then there is some bad news for you. The rumor is false and even though they have their own Facebook page Diet Coke with Bacon is not real and it does not exist.

Bacon Today is a website that many enthusiasts for cured pork belly join and they bear some responsibility for spreading this hoax and they also helped with debunking the hoax. Vp Scott Williamson of Coca-Cola public affairs was queried about it from Bacon Today and confirmed that there was not a Diet Coke that had bacon in it.

Diet Coke with Bacon does not exist but in fact, there was a soda that is bacon flavored and now there is also toothpaste that is bacon flavored. The soda that was bacon flavored was just for a very short time back in the year 2010. Jones Soda Inc. manufactured the drink in Seattle. They have now listed the soda the soda drink with bacon flavor as one of their retired drinks. The good news is if you are really wanting to have a sip of this drink you can still buy the individual drinks online at Amazon but they are not cheap. In fact, just one drink of a 12 oz glass bottle of this bacon soda is around $24 online.

There are many other products available that are bacon flavored such as the Bacon flavored toothpaste, bacon flavored lollipops, bacon flavored popcorn, bacon flavored gum, bacon flavored mints and some other also of course, bacon flavored lip balm. So, as you can see there are lots of ways for you to get that bacon craving fixed. You might just have to buy the items online but you can always look at your local store and see if they have some flavored bacon gum or lip balm.
