Do It Yourself Table Plans, It Is Easier than You Think to Build the Perfect Table

Do you want the perfect table for your home? Have you had trouble finding it in the store or when you did you fell over when you saw the price? That is what happened to me and while I was online shopping I came across some amazing Do It Yourself Table Plans!

Now I am not the worlds greatest carpenter, in fact I would say I was a novice. I don't have a lot of money either, but when I saw I could get hundreds of different table plans and literally thousands of other do it yourself woodworking plans for only 50 bucks, I bought it and downloaded them (took all of about 5 minutes). I figured at the very least I could give them as a gift to a friend of mine who is an avid woodworking hobbyist.

After I saw them and realized how thoroughly everything was laid out and how easy the step by step instructions were I kept them. These Do It Yourself Table Plans had everything I needed; a material list down to the last screw, and a tool list. Now there were a couple of small tools I did not have so I bought them.

Then I got all the materials and set aside a weekend to do the work. It actually took me two weekends to get it all complete, probably because I took so many breaks, LOL! It was so much easier than I would have ever thought to build y own table and the whole thing (even with the tools) only cost me about $325.00.

When buying the materials for your do it yourself table you need to be careful. I called three different lumber yards and got three different prices; the difference between the high and the low was over $200.00 for the exact same materials.

So be careful. It is well worth it to spend and extra 30 minutes checking prices on the phone. It would have been really disappointing if I had found out later that could have saved more than $200.00!

When I actually got to building it was easy. I had a little trouble at first fitting the leg bracket to the table underside. That is where having quality Do It Yourself Table Plans comes in. The written instructions were concise and the pictures and details easy to understand (even for me).

The problem I found out was that I was trying to install the bracket upside down! It only took me about 5 minutes a piece for the other 3.

My table turned out great! My wife and I love it and I figure I saved at least $2,000.00 by building my own table with these awesome do it yourself table plans - I recommend them to any one regardless of skill level who wants to have quality furniture without paying through the nose for it.
