But instead of getting into the bad emotional state, he should do the opposite by asking, "I want a new job for career advancement or job fulfillment". By doing this, you will begin to consider factors that can meet your desire by doing apositive self talk on the under-mentioned:

1. What i really want to achieve in my job?

2. What is truly important to you in a job?

3. What kind of environment i want?

and many more

Without all these thoughts and actions, you might just change to another job that has the same problem with your current one.

Remember this: Your thought and emotions are the elements that you can control so control them well and lead a better life.
