Ez Curl Bar Exercises
An EZ curl bar or EZ barbell adaptors (adaptors which fit onto your barbell to convert
them into an ez curl bar) can be used for a wide range of exercises. Below are just a few exercises which you can perform.
EZ Bicep Curls: These are just like a barbell curl, but they are performed with an ez curl bar or ez curl bar adaptors. Palms facing up, grasp your handles and lift in a slow and controlled manner.
EZ Preacher Curls: Using either an EZ curl bar or EZ barbell adaptors, set yourself up on a preacher bench and curl the bar up like you would for a regular ez bar curl.
EZ Spider Curls: Similar to the preacher curl, but allows for a larger range of movement. Set yourself up on a preacher curl bench facing the opposite way to normal. Proceed to curl as you would a preacher curl.
EZ Lying Tricep Extensions: Using EZ barbell adaptors on your barbell, or an EZ bar, lay down on your back with your bar above your chest, palms facing up during the whole lift. Keeping your upper arm static, bend your elbow to lower the weight above your head, then straighten arms to complete the rep. Lift in a slow and controlled manner.
These are just a few exercises that you can perform with either pieces of equipment.
The advantage of the EZ Barbell Adaptors is that every exercise mentioned can be performed with a regular, narrow or wide hand grip position, adding variation to your workout and muscle stimulation.
