My husband is aware that it happened and doesn't want to know about it - but that's
mainly because it's about a previous lover of mine, not because it was a teacher. The sexual element definitely wasn't abuse as far as I'm concerned. If anything the relationship was chiefly cerebral and helped to fashion who I am today. Black-and-white stories are often easier for people to handle, but grey versions are the stuff of real life. My story is grey and it's one of which I'm not ashamed but rather proud.
