The annual production of bearing retainers is about 3 billion which accounts for about 80% of the total production of similar products. These bearing retainers are sold all over the country. Some of them are even exported to the United States, Germany, Japan, etc. On this basis, this district also brings the industrial advantages and resources into play. It forms a strong economic system by increasing investments and extending the industrial chain. Secondly, the business advantages of this place speed up the economic development. Service industry is the highlight of economic development in Dongchang. In recent years, based on its own strengths, it seizes every opportunity for development, gives full play to the leading role of large projects, and promote the upgrading of the service industry comprehensively. It has made outstanding contributions to economic development of this district. Thirdly, the key projects accelerate economic development. Project is key factor for economic development. It is also the key point of economic expansion. Dongchang takes the projects as the breakthrough. It transmits mode and transfers structure by cultivating key enterprises, launching many key projects, and improving the investments. Some key enterprises like Changhua Company have a significant development which strengthens the leading role of those key enterprises. Many projects such as Xinpengyuan casing, Baotong seamless steel pipe, Tianxin bearing and other projects were launched gradually. Other enterprises like Renhe cage has carried out the automated reform. The industry concentration is further strengthened. In the first half of this year, there have been about 318 industrial enterprises which are above designated sizes.
