Lake Worth Toyota Prius News: Hybrid Model And Company Are Resilient
Remember the bouncing ball that would follow along with the lyrics in the sing-along
videos you watched as a kid? Well that bouncing ball could represent the Toyota Company these days as it bounces back from a major recall just a couple of months ago. The tune its bouncing to could well be I Will Survive. Customers of Lake Worth Toyota Prius will be pleased to hear of Toyotas recent successes.
Toyota said they would work to make things right with their customers and vehicles and now even some auto industry experts are admitting to being impressed by the companys resilience. And what a comeback! With the help of incentive deals, Toyota managed to close out March with a 41 percent sales increase over March 2009. This, despite 8.5 million vehicles recalled around the globe. Impressively, Toyota is processing these recalls at about 50,000 per day and providing customers with rental cars in the meantime.
Weve heard all about Toyotas recall from the media, but how much coverage did the General Motors recall of 1.3 million vehicles receive? What, you hadnt heard about it? It was just as recent as the big Toyota recall, and guess whos not providing loaner cars and quickly fixing their vehicle problems? Thats right, our publicly-subsidized homegrown maker. Lake Worth used Toyota customers are familiar with the timely service they receive on their vehicles.
When it comes to creating jobs, despite the governments predictions that bailouts would help, we have yet to see much of a result in the domestic auto industry after throwing billions of dollars their way. However, Toyota has about 175,000 employees in the United States and plans to increase production soon at one of its plants. Lake Worth Toyota Prius dealers are grateful for this expansion.
Critics can continue to throw mud at the foreigner, but Toyota just keeps showering off and jumping back in the game. Apparently there is a reason the Camry has been number one in sales in the United States. Could it be that people actually like the combination of safety, dependability and economy? Could it be that quality service after purchasing a vehicle is something buyers expect? Could it be that customers will stand behind an auto make that has stood behind them through the years?
Lake Worth used Toyota customers keep coming back and the way Toyota is bouncing back, resilient is definitely an appropriate description. J. D. Powers recently named Lexus, Toyotas luxury line, the best luxury car on the planet. Then Consumer Reports hit with a do not buy recommendation for a Lexus SUV, citing a roll-over danger. Almost immediately Toyota reacted and said they would stop production and retest the vehicle themselves to try and duplicate CRs results. Sounds like they learned a lesson from the last recall and want to be proactive. Is this a bad thing?
A sidebar, Consumer Reports also placed eight Toyota models on it recommendation list last month. Hmm . . . follow the bouncing ball Oh, no not I. I will survive!
