. I assumed that most people knew this until recently. So I thought I go over some of basics. I know to skilled professionals these are no brianers. But this is a refresher that you need to view before you even remotely think about approaching an interview.
Be late: Hey if you cant even honor their time how do you expect them to honor you with the job? Dress inappropriately: Business attire in most cases. In fact even if your interviewing for a retail position don't take any chances.
No research: You have no idea what the company is about? And you really expect to get a job there? And then the unwisest thing in the world is to interview for a job you know nothing about.
Not asking questions: So you want a 5 figure a year job but you have no questions what so ever? that's a red flag to a interviewer.
Poor body language: If your moving a lot and fiddling or twitching. that is a not so good sign to the interviewer. Try conservative movement. Not to say you should be a sitting statue.Just be a little reserved in your movement especially if your animated.
Not expressing genuine excitement and saying you want the job: Hey not asking questions is one thing. But if you seem very uninterested in the position then your in real trouble. Remember the interviewer wants to look good to the company. So if you seem like you are not interested then it is you that loses out.
