Launched in January when Player hosted an inaugural tournament, the course has been lauded by visitors from all over the world. It features unrivalled ocean views, expansive bunkering and superb greens.
The 21-year-old's only Tour wins to date are the 2009 Dubai Desert Classic and this year's Quail Hollow Championship. I love the golf course, I love Hong Kong and I love coming back here. And I know the golf course well and I feel I've got a good idea of what I need to this week to try and get that win here.
The Ulsterman opted out of his PGA Tour card for next season after revealing he missed the camaraderie on the European circuit. I found out a lot about myself and why I was playing and what makes you happy and what makes you want to play golf. There's no point playing a golf tournament where you don't want to be at.
In announcing I was quitting the US Tour, I didn't think it would have been such a big deal but then with Lee Westwood not going and Martin [Kaymer] still undecided, I can see how it could create a bit of a stir. But at the end of the day, you have to make yourself happy. You have to look after number one.
