Anyone who watches TV can easily say that it seems like reality TV shows are taking over

. They are on just about every network, if not every channel. Although the quality of these types of shows is not so great, and the ideas of them seem to be dumb, just about everyone has that one reality show that they secretly watch. Although they are odd, they do provide a way for people to escape from their own reality and watch how other people live their lives.

After a hard day's work, most people want to sit back, relax, and not think for a while. Reality TV offers just that. Watching other people live their lives on your TV, doing stupid, yet funny things is something that people can watch without thinking at all. In addition, there are many shows so you can find one that matches your interests. Whether you like fashion, relationships, or suspense, there are shows for anyone.

However, the amount of shows is also what many people complain about when it comes to reality TV. There are hundreds of different reality shows, across every network and almost every channel. Many people say this ruins TV, however they still need to realize that there are still a lot of shows on are not reality shows. In addition, the wide selection of reality TV shows allow for a selection so there can be shows that everyone can enjoy.

Many people complain about reality shows. However, it seems like everyone still watches at least one show, and they do offer an escape from living in reality and thinking. Even though they are on TV a lot, they do make entertaining TV for some people.
