Basic Information:
Built in 2002, this neighborhood is located just north of C-470 off of Kipling. It sits behind the large Khols shopping center and provides easy access to shopping, Chatfield State Park, The foothills and many other great Colorado destinations
In addition, this is an ideal location providing a quick commute to both Downtown Denver and the Denver Tech Center.
Redstone Ridge condos vary in size from a large, one bedroom with 923 square feet, to a huge three bedroom unit providing over 1,400 square feet. Some homes in this complex have a garage, while others only provide a covered carport, or in some cases, only provide one reserved open parking space.
Each building in the Redstone Ridge condos community is three stories high, providing some third story units with spectacular mountain views!
In addition, the community has it's own private pool and clubhouse area.
Redstone Ridge Condos Prices:
Recently, some of the smaller, one bedroom units have sold as HUD homes in the low $90,000 range. The supply of HUD and bank owned homes in this complex has been in line with the average numbers in the entire Littleton condo market.
On the flip side, some of the larger, 3 bedroom units with upgrades and garages have sold in the high $160's and mid $170's. So, depending on your needs and how much "fix-up" work you're willing to do, Redstone Ridge condos have options for buyers in many different price ranges.
Buying Recommendations:
If you are considering purchasing a condo in Redstone Ridge, there are a few things that can maximize the resale value of your unit in the future:
1.) One bedroom condos in this (and most other) complex can take a while to sell and remain on the market for longer on average than a two or three bedroom unit. Make sure that you understand this going into your purchase, and don't be surprised if it takes a while to sell it when you're ready to move on.
2.) Garages are a big deal! Even if you don't personally need a garage, the inclusion of a garage with a unit can have a big impact on the resale value of your unit in the future. If you can, purchase a condo with a garage.
3.) HUD and Bank Owned homes aren't always the best deal. Make sure you take into account all of the money you will need to invest in fix up costs. Carpet, pain, appliances and other additions can add up fast and many times a home that is ready to move into can be a better value for you than a lower priced bank owned home that needs lots of sweat "equity."
Redstone Ridge condos are a great option for anyone looking for a condo in the South West Littleton area. Do your research and make sure you work with an agent that is familiar with the area.
