Texas Hold'em is a community game where each player is assigned five group cards and two hole cards. All the players try to make the best five card poker using both the private and community cards. The game usually starts after betting some money in the pot. Usually the players on the left hand side of the dealer pay the small and big blind. After the first round of betting is through the dealer has to display three cards on the table. These are the community cards and any player can use it to form a combination. This group of three cards is called the "flop". Now the second betting starts and after the round is finished the dealer will throw out the top card of the deck which is the "turn".
Once the third round of betting is done, a final card is displayed open on the table and it is called the "river". A player can at any time call, rise or fold and after the final betting round the ones who still play should show case the cards. The best combination wins and acquires the pot. If two players have the same kind of combination then the pot is shared among them. Poker is definitely a mind game and you need to follow the game cautiously to win.
