1.Idea. Any novel or story needs some plot. What to write about? You should write about something you know. Use some facts from the real life. You hear a lot of different facts from your friends lives; you read a lot of newspapers. Collect all those details and make up a good story.

2.Depiction. Sometimes you may feel there is nothing interesting in your life and you have nothing to write about. That is no great tragedy! You may describe some famous persons life or even some striking event. For this story you will need to get prepared: study some actual information on the topic, use several sources. But it can be really exciting.

3.Polemicize. Some writers engage in polemics with other authors or their works. Thus, you may create a kind of parody or sketch to a famous masterpiece.

However, no matter what topic you are going to choose, you need to create your writing style. You should be catching and exciting. Of course, some may study special academic literature on use of different stylistic devices. Though, it will be much better to learn from universally recognized authors. Read a lot of classic literature and soon you will understand how you should write.

Finally, you should remember that you will become a famous writer only if your books will bring into readers lives some essential eternal values. Bear in mind that any book should be a source of inspiration to improve the world, to become better.
