The e juice chamber or e liquid chamber is connected to the atomizer part of the device so that the contents can be atomized when sufficient pressure is applied to the mouthpiece. The pressure on the mouthpiece is the signal so to speak for atomization to take place after which the nicotine mist is sucked in by the smoker. It is clear why this experience is touted to be very similar to smoking a real cigarette. While smoking cigarettes has been shown to cause several kinds of cancer and heart disease, electronic cigarettes or smokeless cigarettes cause no such fear.
