Is there a correlation between your wealth and between making your home a solar power house?
Is wealth the amount of money you have in the bank and how much you own? It would seem not according to Robert Kiosacki. His definition of wealth is that 'it's how long you can survive without having to borrow any money if you couldn't work from now on.' It takes wealth from the domain of money to the domain of time and it's a really useful distinction.
So your neighbour, Mr Jones, might need $2,000 a month to survive (including credit card repayments, mortgage, food, car repayments etc.) and he has a job, but only earns $1,800 a month. His car is slick, his garden is beautiful. Everything is perfect - from the outside - but how wealthy is he really? Well, if he lost his job and couldn't work, he would have less than a month's wealth! Now imagine yourself, you also earn $1,800 a month, but your living expenses are only $1,500 a month and you save the rest. You currently have $10,000 in the bank and you lose your job and can't work for health reasons. How wealthy are you? You're about 5 and a half months wealthy. So even though, it might look from the outside that Mr Jones is wealthier than you are, it's just not true.
This isn't just about lowering your spending habits and savings, this is only the beginning, what if you could have a way of being infinitely wealth? Remember, that means that you didn't have to work to survive.
If somehow you were able to have an income that was passive and recurrent and it paid for your expenses, then your wealth would be infinite. That is true financial freedom, that's wealth!
The best way to really increase wealth is to reduce your outgoings, such as your bills, by reducing or eliminating this constant headache you will have far more money to spend on what really tickles your fancy.
Your probably thinking that's mad, how can you reduce your bills, without using less electricity for instance, well what if you used the same amount as you do know, but you did not pay a penny for it, in fact you were paid for having too much, because you were able to create and store your own electricity supply.
How do I go about getting free energy:
It can be done using solar panels, using magnets and by using wind turbines... in fact, it makes sense to use all three types of power generation. Why not?
If this is the route you decide to persue, the initial cost is expensive, but of course you will make back that money and not have to pay another electricity bill in your life.
However, that can be quite costly and there's no need for it. You can actually build your own power generators for next to nothing and it's EXTREMELY easy. You don't really need to be a very hands on type of person to do it yourself and it's so much cheaper.
Money is a feeling at the end of the day, that's what money means to most people. When you don't have as much as you need you feel fear or panic, when you have just enough that fear and panic lessens and then the more money you have the more you can buy things that make or support your happiness.
If you have the courage to build your own self sufficient power supply, you will feel the freedom associated with not having to worry about your bills again, it's truly amazing.
An added motivation for almost all of us is also the environment, even though this should actually be the principal basis to live self sufficiently, it is an late addition for most, it is still a huge achievement to exit the line of individuals who add to our tormented global climate.About the Author:
