2. Competency based interviews-

The purpose of competency-based interviews is to know how a candidate has handled situations or resolved problems in the past based on his or her real life work experiences while working for previous employers or on specific projects. The interviewer in this type of job interview wants to know about the specific role played by the candidate in tackling the situation. In such cases, the concerned candidate must be able to describe the results that he or she had achieved in terms of money saved, process improved or the number of satisfied customers while working for the previous employer or on a project.
