StarCraft 2 Advanced Strategy Guide - Perfect Protoss Build Order in SC2

Are you looking for the perfect Protoss build order in StarCraft 2

? A perfect order will help you consistently win matches, however is there such thing as a perfect build for the Protoss in SC2?

A good Protoss player should build a solid order from the very beginning to use as a platform for his strategies. Start with building 6 Probes and immediately make use of them to start collecting minerals. Continue building until you reach 9, and take the ninth one to start construction a Pylon. Use the Pylon to mine minerals along with your other units as well.

Once your Probe count reaches 12, build a Gateway and an Extractor. While your buildings are in the process of being completed, continually build your Probes until you reach 16. At this time, start producing some Zealot and more Pylons.

At this point, you would want to build your Cybernetics Core, so that you can get some Stalkers into your mix. Do not let up on building Probes as they are the foundation of a solid build order. Build one more Extractor and Gateway after you feel you have enough units. Once these are completed, you base foundation will be ready and you will be able to use whichever strategy that is necessary to win.

Here are couple of tips to use as well to add to your build order. If you are fighting against the Zerg, you should build a few Sentries and strategically place them to fend off Zerglings from hurting your units. If against the Terran, you should focus on expanding your base and harassing them with your Zealots and Stalkers.

I have been playing StarCraft 2 for a while and have never actually seen one perfect Protoss build order. Your order should vary according to your players and what tactics you are up against.
