The New Volkswagen Eos Is Ready For Order

In November 2010 at the Los Angeles Auto show

, Volkswagen unveiled the latest Volkswagen Eos Coupe Cabriolet which features a wide range of technical and visual enhancements. The Volkswagen Eos will go on sale in mainland Europe from January, the UK in early March, and the US from end of March and is set to become a popular choice both in Europe and in its predicted best-selling market, the US.

The new Volkswagen Eos has a wide range of efficient petrol and diesel engines, which includes a 1.4-litre TSI with 122 or 160 PS, a 2.0-litre TSI unit producing 210 PS as well as a refined 2.0-litre TDI engine delivering 140 PS. It will also feature stop/start and battery regeneration systems to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

The Volkswagen Eos has an advanced five piece folding roof with an integrated tilt sliding glass sunroof that can now for the first time be undertaken remotely via the key fob if the car is specified with Keyless Entry. The boot capacity ranges from 205 litres when the roof is down up to 380 litres with the roof closed. The Eos also features Park Assist for the first time, the increasingly popular system which aids both parallel and adjacent parking manoeuvres.

The inside of the Eos is both comfortable and extremely well equipped also the new trim finishes enhance the interior which includes a leather multifunction steering wheel, air conditioning, a powerful eight-speaker CD stereo system and sports seats.

Volkswagen Eos has been opened for ordering in the UK at selected Volkswagen Retailers. Volkswagen Kent is one of the selected retailers where you can place your order for the new Eos at a starting price of 22,895.
