If they don't have enough open jobs then the likelihood that you'll get a job is poor. Will they allow you to speak with previous job seekers? Are they happy with the service they received? How long did it take for them to get place with a job by the recruitment agency? How often do they follow up with you on new job leads?
What size is the company? Is it a local, nationwide or international agency? Though a larger company may get a lion's share of job leads it may leave you feeling like another number in an assembly line. And yet a smaller agency may be so localized that they can't get any job listings. You will need to find the perfect compromise just like Goldilocks and the three bears an agency that is just right.

If you can find one that specializes in your area, has been in business for a while, and has a great fulfillment ratio with a size that meets your needs you should sign up with them right away. Just make sure that they do not charge a fee to take you on as a client.
