How you get workout motivation is through your thoughts, through your mind. Motivation for anything starts and ends with how you think. Your mind strongly influences and controls what you do and when you do it.

Your mind can have you itching to workout, or can have you dreading the thought of physical activity. Your mind can give you that persistence, that work out motivation, to get you off the couch and start exercising.

Therefore, it's how you are thinking about working out that shapes whether or not you actually workout. If you think of working out as a duty that must be done, then you will probably have trouble getting workout motivation. No one likes doing something that they "have" to do.


If you think of working out as a thing that you can take pleasure in, then you're more likely to work out because you "want" to.

How you can shift that "have to" to a "want to" is with subliminal messaging. Subliminal messaging can have you considering that picking up a pair of dumbbells, or going for a brisk walk, isn't that horrible after all.
