development of visual DNA chip technique for detection of HIV-1 infection
Probes were bond covalently on the surface of DNA chip which were hybridized to the products of final step
. At the end of this step and washing, DNA chip was subjected to specific anti deoxygenize anti bodies which were mixed by alkaline phosphatase enzyme in the presence of BCIP/NBT substrate. Forming the blue color represents the presence of virus. The advantages to this technique are: Specialty, high sensitivity, short time, easy and doable in most of the labs and also cheaper in comparison with similar techniques.
