Bipolar Disorder Versus The Insane, Stupid, Moronic VA (Veterans Affairs)

I think the VA only cares about the quantity of service rather than providing quality service. I actually heard a couple doctors saying i have done twelve people and the other ten people. I did not hear them say I provided great quality service to all my patients today. I got booted out of the US Navy by having a huge manic episode aboard the USS San Jacinto CG 56 on November 9, 1990. I was put on Lithium first. After being on Lithuim for a year, I started getting severe diarrhea and intense stomach cramps. At the time,I was going to college at Mississippi State University for Computer Science. They will not let you leave the class room during a test. I felt my stomach was a raging fire. My mind due to another drug made me feel like i was a zombie. I would study for hours and nothing would stick. The lithium was becoming toxic to me causing the diarrhea. The Memphis VA doctor kept lightening the dosage of Lithuim to the point he took me totally off it.

October 1995, I moved to South Florida. Ten years go by everything is cool til a servere depressive episode hit me August 2005. I was working for a company telemarketing American Express business credit cards. The job was hard enough when you are feeling great. I started out of nowhere having intense throbbing headaches. Pounding, Pounding,Pounding Migraine headaches. After almost a total mental breakdown in December 2005, I went to The Pembroke Pines, Florida VA Outpatient Clinic. Guess What the dumb physchiatrist did? I told him about my bad side effects to Lithuim. The Doctor didn't believe me. He put me on Lithuim again! I took it and i got severe diarrhea again. I just can't believe the stupid VA doctors. They obviously do not care.

I was homelss for about six weeks from December 2005 to January 2006. I was living out of my car. A few months later, I angrily jumped down the doctor's throat. "Take me off lithuim and put me on something else." The VA doctor put me on a medication called "Divalproex". Now What?! I get lovely side effects from that. I got migraine headaches and burning, stinging sensation from ear to ear to cheeks on face to all over my scalp down the back of my neck to the top of my shoulders. I eventually took my self off divalproex. The side effects were worse than any benefit it provided me.

While all this is going on, I requested a increase in my disability rating on September 18,2009. The VA still as of today April 11, 2011 has not made a decision on it. I may be dead before they make their decision. They probably be glad if i died so they would not have to pay me a disability pay anymore. The lovely VA doctor put me on another medication. Me their lab rat is introduced to Abilify by November 2010. I got suicidal thoughts running rampid in my painful head from Abilify.

I checked myself into the Miami VA Hospital on November 24, 2010 the night before Thanksgiving. I was there til December 9th, 2010. Those doctors put me on Welbutrin, Lamictal, and Seraquil. The Lamictal gave me rashes so they took me off of it and also made me constipated (lovely right?). I am currently taking welbutrin in the morning and seraquil in the evening. The VA does not care about their veterans. All veterans should unite in a fight against the sorry VA Healthcare System (at least here in South Florida). The VA just wants you in, done, and out of their hair!
