Discover How I Found Motivation In My Life

Over the years, my desire and passion for my career has diminished

, until today. From day one of five years ago, I found it extremely difficult to continue performing, what kept me going was the fear of not having a job.

I got desperate, emotional, and methodical. I just continued doing what I should do; I was unaware of my full potential. I always reason by heart not by mind. Luckily, I did not go downslide. I was able to get a hold on my life and made me a U Turn. For me, finding the right motivating factors did it. I found motivation back in life again. How did I do it?

1. Reflection - one of the basic elements of reflection is finding the reasons that were right and finding the things that went wrong. This will take a lot of courage especially in admitting the things that went wrong. Our ability to reflect on the right and right is our ability to recognize that we have to move on.

2. Be Positive - trust that everything happens temporarily and with a reason. Always remember that the things happened today can be useful in the future. Think that you are just preparing yourself for bigger things to come thus, today is just the beginning.

3. Look around and be inspired. - In our difficult moments we are to busy dwelling in ourselves, we forget to see other things. Let us find ourselves looking at the things and people around us and take note of factors that keeps them going. A simple rose in bloom can inspire you to bloom. A simple act of kindness can inspire you to do more and give meaning to your life.

4. Encircle with friends - the right kind of friends can give us the strength we needed. Moreover, some friends can enlighten us and give us the right perspective. Being alone oftentimes can make us feel more miserable, being with friends can bring us warmth and inspiration.

5. Give yourself a break - monotony gives us one reason to be de-motivated. Therefore it is a good idea to become diverse so that you are able to take on different jobs, if one particular process is becoming boring. This way, you can still be motivated within your job.

6. Remember - Start back at one and remember all the motivational tools that brought you here in the first place. Reminisce on all the aforementioned inspirations and start over if you must to ensure that you maintain that positive attitude.

7. Be healthy - we should not wallow ourselves in activities that destroys our health. Alcohol and other vices are very tempting when we are depressed, instead, go hiking, jogging, or perform any other activity that relaxes you. I did not only look around and be inspired I took care of my body as well. A person who has a healthy body will also have a healthy mind.
