Easy Muscle Building Workout
When you see the professional displaying great muscles, the only thought comes to you is that these are people who spend all their days in the gym doing all kinds of workouts. But the fact is that getting great muscles is not a question of doing more workouts. It is about doing the right workouts that gives the results.
Muscle building is just as easy as ABC. You just need to know which muscles to stimulate, how long your workout should last, how many repetitions you should do and how long you should rest between repetitions and workouts. In addition to that you should also be eating the right foods.
Stimulate the Right Muscles
The first thing towards muscle building is to get the muscles stimulated during you workout. Stimulating a muscle just mean lifting the maximum weight you can and doing about 4 to 6 repetitions. Once the stimulation is done, there is no way you can re-stimulate that muscle all over again after resting. You can move on to do other exercises that stimulate other muscles.
Don't Overtrain
There is no need to do a lot of repetitions if you want to build muscles. That is overtraining. There are a lot of workout plans out there that suggest that the longer you stay on during training, the better the muscles you get. That is fiction. Many people have followed that example without getting the result. Overtraining damages the muscles and might even lead to serious injury.
Challenge the Muscles
Muscles grow when they are made to feel extra impact. What this means is that when you are used to making 10 repetitions with 60 pounds, your muscles are used to that weight; doing more repetitions will not make your muscles grow. You can only maintain your muscles at where they are. But if you increase the weight to 70 pounds with only 8 repetitions, your muscles are challenged to grow. What this means is that you must progressively add up to your weights to force the muscles to grow.
Rest Well
Rest is very important in muscle building. During workouts, the muscles are stimulated and prepared for growth. However, the real growth takes place during the time you are resting. If you don't rest enough, you will break down the muscles.
Nutrition
Muscles are built with protein. That is why you should eat a balanced diet so that your body gets the right nutrients for building the muscles. If you ignore nutrition, you will not make any gain in your muscle building enterprise.
