Both systems can save you significant amounts of money very quickly as well as in the years to come. Solar power systems have many advantages. As the water goes through, the heat from the sun heats up the water (more or less depending on the type of piping used). If this water is pumped through continuously before feeding into the hot water supply system, it will be warmer.

Home solar systems are capable of doing much more than just heat water and generate electrical energy. Solar panels help us save the environment. First of all, they utilize energy that is plentiful, renewable, and absolutely free for all people to benefit from. Producing electricity from the sun doesn't necessitate the use of our natural resources, plus solar systems don't give off any harmful emissions. It does not matter if you are still hooked up to the grid, or fully support your power needs yourself, using solar panels can help reduce overall energy usage. This can decrease the load on power plants, many of which still run on fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum products to produce electricity.

If your solar panels are hooked up to the main power network still, and you produce more electrical energy than you can use and/or store, it feeds directly back into to the grid. In essence, you turn your solar system into a small power plant, and by law, utility companies will buy this surplus energy from you. You should make arrangements initially, but even ten or fifteen dollars a month is better than receiving nothing at all.
