1. Size counts. Most people do not realize that the hot tub is available as a one-person device or up to six or more people. The size of the tub does matter, but not just, because you want to have all of your friends in it. Some hot tubs claim to be ideal for four people, but in fact do not fit that many comfortably. 2. Check out the electrical and mechanical systems before buying. This includes the filtration devices and motors. What warranties are available on these systems by the manufacturer? Not all hot tub types have the same configuration but they all will require maintenance and repair from time to time.
3. Do invest the time in checking out various hot tub designs. Portable hot tubs are fine for some but those who want a more permanent device will want to look at all material types, styles and both self contained and non self-contained hot tubs before investing.
