as to the number of times that homeowners can water, it can be against the law too. Along with those factors also comes the shortage of water that the world faces. That is the reason that homeowners should make every drop count when they are watering their lawns. Instead of allowing water to run down the street, or flood one area of the yard and not touch another, there are other ways to ensure that the yard gets watered, with minimal cost.

Pinpoint Watering

In most yards it is nearly impossible to set a sprinkler and water broadly. Because there are a variety of plants across the yard it makes it necessary to use what is called pinpoint watering, instead of broad watering tactics. Special sprinklers are, such as a noodle head cuts down on water waste, and puts the water where it needs to be. There are other sprinklers that will do the same thing and are relatively cheap at most home improvement stores. Now the water can be directed to specific areas, which creates a more productive watering session.

Automated Systems

Installing a sprinkler system will improve the manner that the yard is watered by, as well as save water and money. There is an initial installation fee, however if money is saved every week it will pay for itself relatively quickly. Automating can cut down on the amount of times that is needed as well as direct the water to where it is needed the most.
