PREPARING THE PLACE IN THE WILDERNESS
In Revelation 12:14, we are told about a great eagle and two wings. We believe that the eagle could be a reference to the Church. For years the Church has been trained and nurtured, under the Holy Spirit's direction, by three areas of ministry. They are pastors, teachers and evangelists.
This nurture and training has been primarily from a 'departure mentality'. The two areas of ministry that have recently been coming into acceptance are the apostles and the prophets.
There is a good possibility that the wings represent the apostles and prophets. It could be under their influence that the preparation of the wilderness will be accomplished. This will happen because the apostles and prophets will usher in a 'conquering theology'.
WHO, ME?
First, let's put things into a proper perspective! When we refer to "Preparing the Wilderness," we're talking about two areas of preparation.
FIRST PREPARE YOURSELF
Throughout scripture,the emphasis has always been on self accountability. - "You make the choice and you either suffer the consequences or reap the rewards, as the case may be. The basic choice from the Book of Joshua rings throughout eternity - "Choose this day whom you will serve".
At another time we'll pursue all that is involved in this self preparation. For instance, there were the preparations of Esther, Joseph, David and many others who were chronicled in scripture. Our task now
is to bring this reality into focus for each of our lives.
PREPARE TO MENTOR OTHERS
Authority, spiritual reality, spiritual gifts and angels - all of these are areas that mature Christians should have a handle on. However, as we "prepare the wilderness" in each of our proximities there is a need for us to be prepared to mentor those who are just now coming into "a knowledge of the truth".
EXPAND YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
In I Peter 3:15, we are admonished to be ready "to give a reason for the hope that lies within us".
In the "world of reality," those with a game plan attract interest from others. Another way to put it is to say that success attracts those who are themselves hungry for victory.
SO HOW DO WE PREPARE THE WILDERNESS?
Preparing The Wilderness, like "eating an elephant" is best done one bite at a time! God's directive to us has been to address specific states of the U.S. individually. The first state selected is Louisiana.
In "The Force - A prophetic revelation", we have included information showing sections of the state with the major demonic domination in each area. We then explained that in each town, there were "key churches" of various denominations. Then, within each church are "key individuals".
However, at this point let it suffice to say that this is what we are called to do. Then when each one understands his or her assignment, we will begin to develop our
