While in high school students take classes of various subjects including Science

, Humanities and Social Studies. Some students decide to go on with their knowledge in Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Mathematics. Great many tend to choose Physics as their main career. Being a physicist opens new horizons for many people.

Studying physics in a university involves both methods of teaching it and pedagogical research. Below one can find some facts about Physics as a field of knowledge relevant for American high schools:

1. Physics as a subject is being introduced to a student during ones senior or junior year. Most of the students are not familiar with the subject up to the present moment. But there are always a small number of people who study it with their tutors as their parents compel them. Though quite expensive these tuitions bring a positive outcome and effect.

2. Physics is being purely a voluntary course. In most cases it is not added to the list of primary disciplines such as History, Economics, U.S. Government, English Lit and English composition. University students may continue their studying and obtain Ph. D. in this field, which contributes very much to their level of knowledge

3. Taking AP (Advanced Placement) class of Physics one may later on specify this fact entering a university so that it is considered as one or a half credit (various high schools and different universities have requirements that are unlike any other.) This fact is also has to be taken into account.

4. Having learned basic concepts of physics one deals with various Science without too much difficulty. Also it contributes to learning other disciplines such as Chemistry, Biology, Programming, Trigonometry, Mathematics and the like. So learning physics is a great advantage many young adults may consider.
