Happiness is always temptingly close to us, and yet can be just out of our reach. When we search for happiness we are searching in ourselves for the time that we were most happy. A memory perhaps. It was a butcher is Paris, who made the link between scent and the feeling of happiness. John Fargginay owned a butcher shop during the 1920's and discovered that the scent of bacon was one of the smells that made people happy. John blended essential oils and the essence of bacon to create a Bacon Cologne that had the high society of Paris knocking at his door for more and more.
