Anger is an emotion that can range from mild annoyance to intense rage. It is a feeling that is accompanied by biological changes in your body. When you get angry, your heart rate and blood pressure rise and stress hormones are released. This can cause you to shake, become hot and sweaty, and feel out of control. Unmanaged anger creates problems sometimes for you and often for others around you. People with poor anger management are more likely to have problems with personal relationships or work, to depressed, and to abuse alcohol or drugs. Number one: Try to understand why you are angry. Ask yourself what triggered this emotion, and talk about it with someone you trust. Number two: Learn how to relax and manage stress. Rest can put things in proper perspective. Take a walk, sit quietly in a calm environment, listen to music, read a book, watch a film, take a bath, go swim, or even do yoga. What's important is that you choose activities that you enjoy to do at that time.

Number three: Realize that everyone in their lives have disagreements or disputes. If the reason for the dispute is misunderstanding, then the best way to address this is to try to talk about it more. After all, disagreements between people arise because they do not understand well what others are trying to do or say. Number four: Solve any conflicts. Doing so will prevent stress, tension, insomnia, family breakdown, aggression, and poor quality relationships.

Number five: Address conflicts at a personal level. Proper communication is the key. Try to approach the person involved, or even have a third person serve as a bridge to help you resolve the conflict.

Follow these five anger management steps, and get a hold of your emotions well.
