An Interview Abstract

Most of the people find job interviews quite stressful

. Indeed, they are till the time you dont really know what is the purpose of an interview. There is no doubt that all interviews are critical but when it comes to job interviews, one needs to be really prepared for it. One thought to keep in mind, which would help you throughout your life is, never think whether you will be selected or not. If you deserve to get selected you will get selected. If you dont, then you just need to upgrade yourself and try again.

In this article I wouldnt suggest you as to how to tackle interview question, rather I would present an abstract of an ideal interview.

Interviewer: Tell me about yourself?

Well, to begin with, I have done my iGCSE training from Globus International. Later I went to Mount Carmel College for further studies. I passed out from there in the year 2008 holding good grades and certificate in my hand. I then started off with my professional career as an intern with Rosewood Software and Services. Due to my sheer skills and good performance the company absorbed me as a Software Developer. Within 2 years I became team leader heading a team of 20 software developers. I am basically a team player with strong work ethics and ample amount of experience.

Interviewer: So if you have been doing so well in that company why do you want to leave that company?

Sir, I will be very honest with you while answering this. Indeed I was doing well there and the company was also kind enough to acknowledge my efforts but only till 2010. Since then, I have trained more than 100 software developers who are now heading a team of other 20 developers each. However, my growth has been stagnant. In fact, it has nearly halted. From past 2 years, despite of my hard efforts the company has failed to acknowledge my efforts. Above that I have some good project ideas in my head which I would expect a brand like yours to go through and take interest. I am sure they will impress you.

Interviewer: What do you know about our company?

Well, I have gone through the company website. I know that this Company was established by John Whistler in the year 1988. Since then the company has only grown despite global financial crisis. It is headquartered at Glasgow. The company has several sister concerns and is into software development, software testing, online training of courses such as CompTIA Training, Cisco Training etc. Currently it is one of the leading software companies, with a USP of above the mark customer service.

Interviewer: Impressive, it seems that you have done your home work pretty well. Ok, tell me what would be your strategy for working in our company?

In the initial days, I wouldnt really implement my strategies in your company. I would just go with the flow, observing and analyzing the work ethics and practices of the company. I would then report the flaws, if any or suggestions to the manager for the betterment of company.
