Nfl Tickets - Teams That Need A Win In Week 3

After three games, NFL teams can usually start seeing where they stack up against the rest of the league

. Here's a look at the teams that desperately need to pull it together for a win in Week 3.

Dallas Cowboys against the Houston Texans:

As one of the highest profile teams in the league, the Cowboys have gotten off to an atrocious start after many were touting them as potential Super Bowl contenders. With plenty of playmakers on both sides of the ball, the Cowboys should be a tough matchup for any team in the league, including the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts. But hype never translates to wins in the NFL and the Cowboys have been shredded on defense while being very one-dimensional on offense. On the road against one of the better teams in the league, the Cowboys need to find a way to successfully run the football and also need to shore up their secondary, and fast. With Matt Schaub's ability to throw the ball down the field, the Cowboys will have their biggest challenge of the season and absolutely do not want to go into their Week 4 bye without a win.

Minnesota Vikings against the Detroit Lions:

Another supposed Super Bowl contender that could fall to 0-3 is the Minnesota Vikings. After tough losses to both the Saints and the Dolphins, the Vikings come home to face the Detroit Lions in a game they simply need to win to have a shot at keeping up with the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears. The Vikings need to find a way to get better with ball security after turning the ball over far too often in Week 2. On the other side of the field, the Lions also shouldn't be overlooked. The Lions should have beat the Bears in Week 1 and were edged out by a very good Philadelphia Eagles team in Week 2. If the Vikings turn the ball over often once again in Week 3, the Lions could take this one.

San Francisco 49ers against the Kansas City Chiefs:

Playing in Arrowhead is never an easy task and the 49ers have to do so on a short week following a brutal last-second Monday night loss against the Saints. At 0-2, the 49ers also need to find a way to find a win and get their team moving in the right direction, even though eight wins could feasibly win the NFC West. The Chiefs don't really seem to have the talent of a 2-0 team but they clearly are better than most people anticipated and have the type of exciting players that definitely sell plenty of NFL tickets.

Baltimore Ravens against the Cleveland Browns:

Luckily for the Ravens, they get to come home after a very physical matchup against the Bengals to play the Browns, a team that is a mess at this point. But even though the Ravens are heavily favored, they need to avoid falling behind in the very tough AFC North. With a division loss to the Bengals and the Steelers off to a great start even without Ben Roethlisberger, the Ravens could put themselves in a precarious position if they find a way to drop this one to the Browns.

New York Jets against the Miami Dolphins:

It won't be time to panic if the Jets lose on the road in Miami, but it will definitely hurt. If the Dolphins win, Miami will move two full games up in the standings on the Jets and New England should have no problem with Buffalo this weekend either. Though it originally seemed that three teams from the AFC East could make the playoffs, the surprisingly strong AFC North could limit the Wildcard spots that can come out of other divisions, and either Indianapolis or Houston will also be vying for a Wildcard spot as well. A win would give the Jets wins against the two toughest teams in the division and will place them in the driver's seat heading to Buffalo in Week 4.
