Nowadays, society understands the importance of scientific researches in different areas that are aimed to improve peoples life and health
. It is an urgent question for the international community. As a result, there appear a lot of foundational associations and organizations through the world that are aimed at providing grants to scientific researches.
One of such organizations is U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation. It is a non-profit organization established by the National Scientific Foundation in 1995. It has offices in Russia; Kyiv, Ukraine; Almaty, Kazakhstan; Baku, Azerbaijan; and Amman, Jordan.
The missions of this organization are:
1.Support international scientific and technical collaboration with grants.
2.Provide with fund civilian researches and non-profit projects.
3.Support international scientific partnership.
4.Provide funds for universities that are occupied with researches in science and engineering.
One of the most important activities of CRDF is the Grants Program (CGP). It was founded in 1995 in order to support Eurasian and American researchers that work in the field of natural sciences.
The main objectives of the program are:
1.The program works in the area of new researches of both U.S. and Eurasian scientists.
2.The main aim of the program is to improve the quality of foreign researches and to provide funds for young researches.
3.One of the core ideas of the program is to support projects that work in the area of redirection of former weapon scientists to civil research.
4.Build successful and profitable industry and partnership with foreign scientists.
5.This program pays special attention to the change of experience of Western research with its Eurasian counterparts in order to create the most effective projects.
6.The Grants Program provides with grants individual researches. It provides scientists and institutions with new equipment and necessary supplies.
